Book Early!
Ekahi Village is one of the most popular resorts in Maui.
Our clients tend to book their holidays months - even up to a year
- in advance, particularly for holidays, Winter high season, and
school
breaks. In order to insure that you can get your first choice dates
and units, we recommend that you book your unit as far in advance
as possible.
Rental Seasons
For Rental Purposes, the year breaks down into three seasons:
HIGH SEASON runs from December 15, through the Sunday following
Easter Sunday or April 15, whichever is later
THANKSGIVING WEEK runs from the Friday prior to Thanksgiving Day,
through the Monday AFTER Thanksgiving and is considered HIGH SEASON
LOW SEASON runs from the second Monday following Easter Sunday, through
December 14
HOLIDAY SEASON runs
from December 16 through to January 2
Many owners impose minimum stay requirements on their units,
particularly over the holiday periods. Some owners have a
peak season surcharge
for the Christmas/New Years holiday season. Check the Rates and
Policies information on individual unit web pages for this
information.
Booking Conditions
Upon verbal or written
request for a reservation from you, we will place a five business-day "courtesy hold" on
the unit. In order to confirm the booking, a deposit equal to two
nights' rental
is required. The balance, plus a refundable security deposit equal
to one night's rental, is due sixty days prior to your visit. Upon
receipt of balance of payment we will forward an information packet
including directions to the resort complex, key retrieval, as well
as additional information about Wailea/Makena area.
Cancellations Policy
Cancellations more than sixty days prior to the first date of rental
incur an administration fee equal to two nights' rental. Cancellations
within sixty days of the first date of rental incur a fee equal to
the entire rental amount of the booking, less a pro rata refund (minus
the two day administration fee) IF we are able to re-rent the unit
for the dates cancelled.
We HIGHLY recommend that you take out Trip Cancellation Insurance
if you believe that there is any possibility that you may not be
able to take your trip. This insurance is available at nominal cost
from many travel insurance providers.
